Marion County Health Dept. offering low cost flu shots all month long

MARION COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) — After one of the worst flu seasons in decades, the Marion County Health Department is offering low cost flu shots during the month of October.

Across the country, 80,000 people died from flu complications this past flu season and 900,000 were hospitalized.

The flu shot clinics in Marion County just began Tuesday and there are several dates and times over the next few weeks if you're planning to get one.

The shot costs $20, but it's free for children under the age of 2.
