Man caught using counterfeit currency at Greenfield pharmacy

GREENFIELD, Ind. (WTHR) — A Noblesville man is behind bars, accused of using fake cash at a store in Greenfield.

Police arrested 33-year-old Maxwell Landis Wednesday after getting caught using counterfeit $20 bills at a CVS Pharmacy.

Police said they found more fake money in the Landis' car, along with receipts for purchases from other pharmacies around Indianapolis.

Landis faces counterfeiting charges.
