Man catches 'turkey of a lifetime' in Tennessee

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WTHR) – A turkey hunter in Tennessee got the catch of a lifetime last weekend.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency shared a photo of the white turkey on Facebook Saturday.

Cameron Bond caught the leucistic turkey in Rutherford County, Tennessee.

The wildlife resources agency says leucism in birds is described as a loss of pigmentation.

The turkey weighed 20 pounds and it's beard measured nine and half inches with .75 inch spurs.

The Facebook post has been shared more than 2,000 times.
