Man arrested for making bomb threats against school to rob nearby business

WARSAW, Ind. (WTHR) — An Indiana man has been arrested for making bomb threats to a school because he was allegedly planning to rob a local business.

Police officers said they were called to Warsaw Community High School after bomb threats were made on Sept. 18 and 27.

According to WNDU, detectives spoke with Mark A. Schultz, a 46-year-old person of interest from Silver Lake.

Police say he admitted making the threats so he could rob a local business. That robbery never took place.

Schultz is now being held on an intimidation charge and could face other charges as well.
