Jackie Bledsoe, author of "The 7 Rings of Marriage," will join Carrie Cline Tuesday on WTHR Sunrise to talk about the failures and successes in his own marriage and how you can avoid the same pitfalls.

He says the same ideas apply whether you're dating, newlyweds or have been married for some time.

What questions do you have for him for freshening up your own relationship and restoring that spark?

Post your questions in the comments below and he'll answer some of them Tuesday on WTHR Sunrise.

Bledsoe offers three tips for building healthy love relationships:

1. Improve Communication

  • Be slow to speak (listen first and attempt to gain an understanding before speaking)
  • ?Use words that build up rather than tear down

2. Find Other Couples: Surround yourself with couples who value and are seeking healthy relationships.

  • Do life with other people in relationships through small groups, ministries, who will encourage you and hold you accountable.
  • Find mentors and counsel...people who have successful relationships that can teach you from the lessons they’ve learned.

3. Be Intentional: Spend quantity time, which leads to quality time — date nights, conversations without your devices, etc.

  • Read books, attend seminars, and retreats geared toward helping you improve your relationships.
