PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) - Police in west central Indiana dealt with a pair of trespassers that just wouldn't get a "moo-ve" on.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Department shared photos on Facebook of two cows that stopped for a break at a local gas station.

"Folks, apparently we have a new problem occurring in our peaceful community. Cow loitering," the department posted.

Deputies found the bovines lounging in front of the car wash and refusing to leave.

The cows were eventually taken into custody and returned to their owner. No charges were filed.

"Just another day in rural Indiana Law Enforcement," the post read.
