INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A Greenwood Christian graduate says he can get a one-day contract with the Indianapolis Indians if he gets retweeted 26,000 times.

Gerrit Huizinga posted on social media a screen grab of a conversation he had with the Indians asking how many retweets he'd have to get for them to offer him a one-day contract. The response was 26,000. He said, "Consider it done," and they wished him luck.

As of 9 a.m. Friday, Huizinga had 16,000 retweets.

If the plot sounds familiar, a Nevada teen became the talk of all Twitter last year when Wendy's agreed to give him free chicken nuggets for a year if he got 18 million retweets. Carter Wilkerson "only" got 3.6 million retweets, but that was enough to break Twitter's all-time retweet record. Wendy's went ahead and gave him his nuggets - plus made a $100,000 donation to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

If Wilkerson can get 3.6 million, Hoosiers can help Huizinga get to 26,000, right?
