INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — On Sunday, the Red Tails Gun Club helped a ministry provide food and warm clothing to some of Indy's homeless.

Meet Me Under the Bridge Ministry offers help to people living in homeless camps or under bridges.

They provide food, clothes and guidance to anyone who needs it. On Sunday, they were giving out care packages outside the Marion County Jail on Washington Street.

"They're people. They're loving, kind, giving people," said Executive Director Kathy Albright. "I'll tell ya, homeless people will give you the shirt of their back if you needed it. They are very generous people."

"It means a lot to us," said Timothy Featherston, who is homeless. "Some of us don't get meals at all and I just want to say thank you to everyone who gives their money and time. Thank you."

Meet Me Under the Bridge Ministry has been helping the homeless since 2005.

In that time, they've only missed one Sunday.
