Live Doppler 13 Weather Forecast: Warm, windy and possibly stormy Thursday ahead


After some morning showers on Wednesday, then the sun came out and it did warm up. Afternoon temperatures were in the upper 60s and lower 70s. It was the warmest since October 10th. It will be dry and breezy this evening. Another wave of rain will develop after midnight. This wave of rain will also come with some gusty winds.

Thursday will be warm and windy, with winds gusting 50-60+ mph. There will be some lingering showers early Thursday. If the skies start to clear Thursday, our concern for severe weather will go up. We are already under a slight risk for severe storms. That timeline for the threat is from about 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. Stay weather aware on Thursday. If storms do develop, they may contain large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes.

There is a colder component to this intense storm system. We will get into the colder air on Friday. It will be colder and only near 40. It will still be breezy, so it will feel like the 20s. There will also be some snow showers possible.

The weekend starts chilly, with highs on Saturday in the lower 40s. We near 50 degrees on Sunday, with some sunshine.

Early next week looks dry with afternoon temperatures near 50 degrees.
