Live Doppler 13 Weather Forecast - 9/23/19 Sunrise Update

It’s finally here! The Autumnal Equinox occurred at 3:50 this morning and with it, a change in seasons we will feel as early as later this morning.

Rain will be moving out, and sunshine will be moving in later today with highs only in the 70s. The cold front will move south of us today, and winds will shift to the northwest for a couple of days. Look for a high of 78 later today with plenty of afternoon sunshine.

It’s hard to believe that the year has gone by so fast but if you still want summer weather, hang in there. It’s going to be beautiful later this week with more heat and humidity and highs near 90 degrees. Only a few chances for rain this week as our mainly dry pattern continues.

By the way, how about those peak color times….

  • In Lafayette and Marion, the leaves will peak between Oct. 19 and 26.
  • In the Indy metro, Oct. 26 through Nov. 2 and by the way, those dates hold for Brown County and Parke County as well.
