Live Doppler 13 Weather Forecast - 9/16/19 Sunrise Update

Walk out the door, and you’ll discover that, despite the fact we are in September, we are still a long way away from autumn weather.

The dry, summer heat continues, and it will prove to be a warm, virtually rain-free week. A huge head dome, reinforced by a big ridge of high pressure, isn’t going to move, and the heat could last into next week.

Today, look for a morning in the upper 60s and low 70s, quickly warming into the mid to upper 80s later this afternoon.

Look at the 7-day outlook, and it’s pretty much the same identical forecast every day into the weekend. Harvest is in play around Indiana, but we could actually stand to have some rain.

Officially, we have had only .01” of rain the entire month, more than an inch and a half below normal with very little rain in sight.
