Live Doppler 13 Weather Forecast - 9/12/19 Evening Update

Today was the third 90 degree day in a row this week and we will be close again tomorrow. A couple of pop-up storms are possible through early evening. It will be warm and muggy overnight, with Friday morning temperatures in the lower and middle 70s. A cold front will move through the area on Friday afternoon. The front will trigger a few showers and storms, but most of the day will be dry. Afternoon temperatures on Friday will be in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. Any storms that do develop should be gone for Friday night high school football or any of our Friday night plans.

It won't be as hot on Saturday, with afternoon temperatures in the lower and middle 80s. Expect a mix of sun and clouds for Saturday and Sunday. If you are going to the IU game you will need sunglasses. If you are going to night game at Purdue, you might need a sweatshirt.

Higher heat returns for Sunday and much of next week. We are forecasting highs in the range of 85 to 90 degrees. Right now there is just a slight rain chance north on Monday, but the bigger story next week will be the heat and high humidity.
