Live Doppler 13 Weather Forecast - 8/16/19 Evening Update


A stray shower or storm will be possible Friday evening, but most of central Indiana will be dry. The better chance for rain and storms is in the forecast early Saturday morning. We will be tracking what's left of a complex of rain and storms that will develop out to our west and move our way. A few strong storms will be possible. There will be some dry time Saturday afternoon and it will be warm and muggy with afternoon temperatures in the middle and upper 80s. A pop-up storm will still be possible Saturday afternoon, so stay weather aware if you are going to the fair or the Colts and Browns at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Higher heat is in the forecast for the end of the weekend and early next week. We are forecasting highs near 90 and feels like temperatures 95 to near 100. A few storms are possible on Sunday, with a low risk for severe weather. A few storms are possible on Monday, with more coverage of rain and storms expected on Tuesday and Wednesday. It will stay hot and humid through midweek.
