Live Doppler 13 weather forecast - 5/10/19 Sunrise update

Rain has moved out of the Metro Indy area and even though we'll see more sun this morning and clouds this afternoon, it will feel pretty cool out there today and really, into next week. All systems go for dry weather today for practice for the Indy Car Grand Prix at the Speedway.

Skies clear tonight into early Saturday. This will mean a sunny start to the weekend. It will be cool and in the lower and middle 40s. Afternoon temperatures will be in the range of 60-65 degrees. Clouds will start to increase midday and there is a chance for late day shower tomorrow. Right now we are forecasting mainly cool and dry weather for the 500 Festival Kids Day and Rookie Run, but it will be jacket weather.

If you are going to the Grand Prix at IMS on Saturday, you will might need a raincoat for late in the day. There will be the chance for rain during the race but the cars will run in light to moderate showers if we get wet during the race.

Looks like rain in the morning for Mom's Day Sunday. Hopefully this starts to move out by lunch time.

Early next week will be dry and more mild.
