Live Doppler 13 Thursday Sunrise forecast: Damp and cool

It will be cloudy with pockets of drizzle all morning long, and cool too, with afternoon temperatures only reaching the middle and upper 60s.

Friday afternoon looks simply awesome. There is some sunshine in the Friday forecast and it will be warmer. Temperatures rebound back into the 70s for Friday afternoon. We are forecasting mainly clear skies and evening temperatures in the 60s for high school football on Friday night. Remember, the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival starts Friday and the weather will be wonderful.

The weekend will start warm but end with rain chances and cooler air coming.

High temperatures will be in the lower 80s on Saturday afternoon, with some sun. It will be a beautiful day in Bloomington for a wonderful Homecoming game against Jim Harbaugh's Michigan Wolverines.

We are tracking a cold front for Sunday. Timing is critical to the timeline for rain and the timeline for a temperature drop. Right now we are forecasting the better chance for a line of rain and maybe a few storms for the end of Sunday. This would mean another warm day near 80 degrees.

Much cooler air arrives Sunday night and will linger into the middle part of next week. We are forecasting lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s. This is cooler than our recent temperature trend, but it closer to the average for the middle part of October.
