A few spotty showers moved over central Indiana this morning. It should be dry but mostly cloudy the rest of the afternoon. It will be seasonal with temperatures climbing into the low 70s.

It will be partly cloudy later this evening. Areas of dense fog will be likely during your morning with visibility falling below a quarter mile at times. Temperatures will only fall into the mid 50s.

The warming trend will continue Thursday. Temperatures will soar into the upper 70s under partly sunny skies. There is a chance of thunderstorms late afternoon into Friday morning. The better chance of storms will be in north central Indiana, as a warm front sags from north to south. A few strong to severe storms will be possible into Friday morning. The main threats will be large hail.

Any storm activity will exit central Indiana by mid morning Friday. Temperatures will only fall into the mid 60s.

A gradual clearing arrives by Friday afternoon with highs in the low 80s.

Pole Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is this Saturday. It will likely be the warmest day of the year with hazy skies and highs in the mid 80s.

Most of Sunday will be warm and humid with highs in the low 80s. Storm chances return by Sunday afternoon.
