The Comeback: Local business woman gives out free soap to those in need during coronavirus pandemic

A guest on Andrea Morehead's series "The Comeback" is helping those in need during this coronavirus pandemic by giving away her soaps for free.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – We have good news about an act of kindness that's spreading.

13 News Anchor Andrea Morehead kicked off her series "The Comeback," which highlights Hoosiers who've overcome challenges with resiliency -- and their stories inspire all of us.

During this pandemic we all have a comeback story to share.

You may remember Andrea's first guest who's a breast cancer survivor.

Out of adversity Victoria Thomas-Bodie started The Pink Tub making organic soaps and lotions.

"The Comeback" checked in to see how she was doing and told Andrea she's been very busy making loaves of soap to give to people in need -- for free.

She dropped off a basket at a home for a police officer and his wife. They both have COVID-19.

"Each family gets one loaf of soap and a jar, an eight ounce jar of unscented lotion and that loaf yields 10 bars of soap," Victoria siad. "So this is essential for these families to wash their hands, their face, and their body."

"The Comeback" series airs two times a week. If you have an inspirational story to share that you believe will help all of us get through this time, reach out to Andrea at andrea.morehead@wthr.com.
