MISSOURI (WTHR) — A lawmaker wants everyone between the age of 18 and 35 to own an AR-15.

Andrew McDaniel, a Republican lawmaker in Missouri, has named the bill after himself as a Militia Act.

House Bill 1108 would also create a tax credit for the purchase of that AR-15.

A couple days before that bill, McDaniel filed a bill that would require everyone 21 and older to own a handgun.

Neither bill is scheduled for a hearing at this point.
