INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Kroger will soon begin selling CBD products in its stores.

Those products will include lotions, balms, oils and creams that are infused with hemp-derived CBD.

Kroger will be selling those products in 17 states including Indiana.

They should start hitting shelves in the coming weeks.

A Kroger spokesperson told Eyewitness News that the hemp-derived products will be tested for safety and quality.

Unlike marijuana, which can contain high levels of THC, most CBD oil is produced from a different type of cannabis plant -- known as industrial hemp -- that has little or no THC.
