KOKOMO, Ind. (WTHR) - Police in Kokomo are looking for a man who failed to return his children to his estranged wife earlier this month.

Police say Michael Lovely, 37, picked up his children from his wife on June 29 and was supposed to return them July 6, but did not. An emergency order to return the children was issued on Wednesday, but Lovely remains at large.

Kokomo police are asking for the public's help in locating the children, 4-year-old Noah Lovely and 1-year-old Conner Lovely, who are believed to be in their father's care.

Michael Lovely is wanted on a warrant in Miami County for an unrelated situation. Police did not have a description of a vehicle Lovely may be driving.

If you have information about the whereabouts of Michael Lovely or the children, call 911 or Kokomo Police at 765-456-7017. You can also call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS and potentially qualify for a cash reward.
