PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTHR) — Three police officers from Kokomo are on their way to National Police Week.

But they're not driving to get there. The trio is running 140 miles starting from Philadelphia all the way to Washington, D.C. where it's being held.

They say it's all to honor the officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice, like Boone County Sheriff's Deputy Jacob Pickett, who died in 2018, as well as other fallen Hoosier officers.
