KOKOMO (WTHR) - A hospital in Howard County is using some of their food trimmings to make food for dogs in the shelter.

The kitchen staff at Community Howard Regional Health are turning the scraps, like orange peels and melon rinds, into dog treats.

That's according to our newsgathering partners at The Kokomo Tribune.

Workers at the shelter say the dogs are loving them.
