KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. (WTHR) - After more than two weeks on the lam, "Porkchop" has been caught.

A local farmer was finally able to do what many others couldn't - capture the pot bellied pig.

Porkchop ran off after just three days with his new family when he was reportedly spooked by the family's dog. His adventures captured the attention of the small Henry County town, even sparking a Facebook page to track sightings around town.

That Facebook page announced Porkchop's capture Friday evening.

Family members tell Eyewitness News Porkchop is safe at home.
