INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Justin Timberlake fans will have to wait until next year to see the pop star in concert.

Timberlake announced he's had to postpone the remainder of his December shows, including the Dec. 14 stop at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, to heal his vocal cords.

He will now be performing on Tuesday, April 2. Tickets for the original show will be honored.

Timberlake postponed the "Man of the Woods" stop in New York at Madison Square Garden in October, saying his vocal cords were "severely bruised."

Wednesday, he said while his bruising is healing, he was not fully healthy yet, and doctors asked me to stop singing until next month.

Other stops during December include St. Louis, Kansas City and Philadelphia, among others. His first show of 2019 is scheduled for Washington, D.C. on Jan. 4.
