INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Big wheels and all kinds of trucks are on display at the Indiana Fairgrounds this weekend.

Organizers of the 38th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Fall 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals say more than 5,000 trucks are competing for bragging rights in the show and shine competition.

“It’s the granddaddy of four-wheel jamborees,” says Emily Boden of organizer Bonnier Events.

Boden says there’s fun for the whole family.

“There’s mud bogs, where you go through a giant mud pit, mud drags, there’s going to be a monster truck show, which the kids love. There’s UTV racing. You can take a ride in a monster truck” says Boden.

Professional monster truck drivers say it’s all about community.

“Meeting the great fans, they really appreciate what they do,” says Michael Vaters.

The Jamboree will run from 9am to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the final day the event. will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
