Indy 500 winner Simon Pagenaud shares Baby Borg with his dog, Norman

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — To win the Indianapolis 500 and have your face on the Borg-Warner Trophy is a big deal. But Simon Pagenaud's dog is also getting to share in the spotlight.

"Such a special morning at @Team_Penske receiving my Baby @BorgTrophy! And an amazing surprise too... they put Norman on there with me! So incredibly thankful," Pagenaud said in a video posted to Twitter.

The trophy creators said fans wondered why Norman's face wasn't on the Borg-Warner Trophy, so to make things right they put the pup's face on the "Baby Borg."

The trophy was presented to him Monday morning at the Team Penske breakfast, NBC Sports reported.

Norman was also thrilled to see his face on the trophy.

Pagenaud won the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500.
