LOS ANGELES (WTHR) - Indiana native Christiana Danielle is still alive on "The Voice," thanks to her coach Alicia Keys.

After two nights of live performances, voters picked two other members of "Team Alicia," but the coach got to make the final selection and picked the Fort Wayne singer to move on to next week's live shows.

Christiana performed a soulful version of "Hey Ya" by Outkast on Monday's live show, but voters selected Britton Buchanan to advance from Team Alicia.

"(I) just really wanted to have fun with it and I did, so I'm proud," Christiana said after Monday's show.

Christiana had the chance to perform live again Tuesday night, with viewers again having the chance to vote her into the Top 12 for next week's shows. Voting was done live during the show through The Voice app and on Twitter, using the hashtag #VoicePlayoffsChristiana, but on Wednesday's show, teammate Jackie Foster was announced as the winner of America's vote.

Tuesday, Christiana showed off "another rockin' side of me that you haven't seen yet" as she performed Hozier's "Take Me To Church."

After several tense moments, Keys announced that she was keeping Christiana for another week.

"Going with my heart, I choose...Christiana," Keys said on the show.

Next week's live performances will start Monday night at 8 p.m. on Channel 13, with Christiana's fate again going into the voters' hands.

"I'm so happy," she told Fort Wayne's NBC after this Monday's show. "Let's continue to vote. This is fun and I don't want to be done with this, so keep it up!"
