INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Local restaurant Soupremacy has started a "Sponsor a Soup" program to help people facing food insecurity get free meals.

Soupremacy is partnering with the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center to feed those in need. Customers can order soups online as part of the program, and Soupremacy will deliver them to the center to feed the community for free.

To participate, start an online order and choose "Pickup," then select any time the restaurant is open. Pick "Sponsor a Soup" under the categories tab to complete the order.

Soupremacy is also looking for other nonprofit organizations to help serve the community. Any nonprofit interested in partnering with the restaurant should comment Danielle Cooney at manager@soupremacy.com or by calling 317-457-9733.
