INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — It's going to be a couple of weeks before knowing if fundraising efforts were enough to "Keep Ann Dancing."

The Indianapolis Cultural Trail started a campaign to raise $262,000 for some upgrades and repairs to the iconic dancing sculpture on Mass Avenue.

Supporters attended a fundraising party Saturday to make that last minute push for donations. While it helped, it wasn't quite enough to get the job done. They raised $5,000.

According to the website, the campaign brought in 75 percent of its goal, still leaving about $66,000 to go.

But folks at the Cultural Trail say donations continue to come in, and they'll announce the fundraising total after they've added up all the money raised.
