IMS to bring "tiny house" living to infield for Indy 500

Fifteen tiny houses will be available for rent during the Indianapolis 500 weekend.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Race fans will have a tiny opportunity to live large at this year's Indianapolis 500.

Fifteen tiny homes will be available inside the famous oval, complete with parking, tickets to the race and concerts, and a whole lot more. The homes have full heat and air conditioning, plus a full kitchen and bathroom.

"They might seem tiny insize, but they're big on amenities. They also sleep up to four adults, so we're really excited to bring the 15 that we'll be bringing to the 102nd Running of the Indianapolis 500," said IMS President Doug Boles.

The cost for the unique experience inside a tiny home isn't so tiny - the four-day rental will run you $3,000.
