IMPD removes recruitment video after complaints about its lack of diversity

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Indianapolis Metro police have removed a recruitment video from social media after getting complaints.

They posted the video last month.

Some people on social media complained that it didn't portray enough diversity or inclusion because it featured all white men and women officers.

On Wednesday, IMPD told Eyewitness News they were considering taking the video down.

By Wednesday afternoon, it had been removed from their page.
