IACS gets $10K grant for dog 'play groups'

INDIANAPOLIS — Indy's Animal Care Services is trying something new to keep its dogs active and happy.

The shelter just received a $10,000 grant from Dogs Playing for Life to create play groups for pooches.

This will let dogs get out and stretch their legs one to two times a week and socialize with other dogs before finding their forever homes.
