Hurricane Florence rescue efforts continue with help from Indiana Task Force 1


(WTHR) — Rescues continue in the Carolina's.

The coast guard has saved more than 500 people and pets from the aftermath of Hurricane Florence as crews used shallow water response boats to reach people in danger.

And helping the coast guard out, are three members of Indiana Task Force One.

Previously, it was known that most of them came back home already, but Program Manager, Tom Neal, Logistics Manager, Mark Rapp Jr. and Structures Specialist, Dave Cook are still in North Carolina.

They're now helping FEMA Urban Search and Rescue teams.
