Humane Society in Hamilton County to 'Clear the Shelter'

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) — The Humane Society of Hamilton County is taking part in a national adoption event to "Clear the Shelter."

The Humane Society's shelter is near capacity.

So, on Saturday, August 17 the shelter will open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Adoption fees are waived for most animals, but there is a $10 processing fee that will be applied.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, a free wellness exam with a participating veterinarian, a bag of starter food, and multiple discounts on pet services from training and boarding to supplies and more.
