Hubler's state-of-the-art Honda dealership set for 2020 opening in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) - Hubler Automotive Group will break ground August 20 on a new dealership location in Bartholomew County.

A new road will be built to accommodate the expansion.

The site, 10730 Hubler Drive, Taylorsville, will be home to a state-of-the-art Honda dealership, the state's newest. It's just south of I-65 and east of U.S. 31.

The new dealership means a large lot, a spacious showroom, a carwash and 25 service bays in a 40,000-square-foot structure.

Hubler hopes to create between 20 and 30 new jobs with the expansion.

“We are very excited to have a new Honda dealership under construction that will allow us to better serve everyone in Columbus and the surrounding counties," said dealer Brad Hubler.

The facility will replace the firm's Columbus site, 3055 Central Ave. That location will remain open until the new location opens in spring, 2020.

“This location makes a lot of sense for a dealership and with more space we will be able to stock three times as many vehicles plus be easy to get to from anywhere," said John Haines, development director.
