AURORA, Colo. (KUSA) – Two Aurora kids don’t think they’re any different from anyone else, but that’s not what the internet thinks.

A video of them performing a kind deed has gone viral, praising the brother and sister.

Haylie Wenke, 13, and her brother Reagan Wenke, 6, along with their friend, saw a wallet on a driveway while riding their bikes on Wednesday, July 18. They immediately hopped off their bikes, walked up to the front door, rang the doorbell to announce they were returning the wallet and left it among some flower pots.

Nigel Drake, the owner of the wallet, tells KUSA he was walking into his house after getting off work when the wallet fell out of his pocket.

Then he saw the security video from his porch. “I watched the video, and it was just these nice three kids that just decided to do the nice thing,” Drake said. “It was very heartening to feel.”

Drake’s father posted the video on Facebook hoping to find the kids that returned the wallet.

The Wenke’s aunt in South Dakota saw the Facebook post and put their mom and Drake’s dad in contact.

Drake said they're now trying to figure out the perfect ‘thank you’ gift for kids.
