INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Metro homicide detectives are investigating the deadly stabbing of a man on the west side of Indianapolis.

A woman was also stabbed early Sunday morning at the same location.

The call came in around 3:45 a.m. to Chapelwood Blvd. near 10th Street and Girls School Road in the Chapel Hill apartment complex.

Officers were responding to a report of a disturbance when they found the man and woman injured, apparently stabbed, according to police.

The man died at the scene, according to IMPD spokesman Michael Hewitt. The woman was taken to the hospital and Hewitt described her condition as stable Sunday morning.

Police have not identified the victims or any suspects in their investigation. Hewitt said there appeared to be no further danger to the public.
