INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — The group '100 Black Men of Indianapolis' made sure some young kids had a pretty cool start to their summer school day.

They showed up for the opening day of Summer Academy at School No. 74.

And they lined up on both sides of the hallway to greet the kids and give each of them a high five.

Some city leaders including Mayor Joe Hogsett stopped by, too.

The mayor said this program helps the kids stay on track with their education, so they can just pick right back up when school starts again.
