INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - The mother-daughter duo from Indianapolis behind the hit HGTV series "Good Bones" are sharing their experience in the home renovation business.

The pair is known as "Two Chicks and a Hammer" and they're getting ready to return for a second season.

The show follows Karen and her daughter Mina as they rehab homes primarily in the Fountain Square and Bates Hendricks areas.

They say they're able to make such a big difference in these communities in large part because of the people living there.

"The neighborhood associations are strong, the people care, and that's what makes it doable. Because you can come in and fix up a house anywhere, but if no one's going to take care of it and the street is going to fall apart, it doesn't matter."

Berkshire Hathaway hosted today's meet-and-greet after teaming up with "Good Bones" for the "Love Your Home" sweepstakes.

There are prizes given out weekly plus a grand prize winner will get $50,000 dollars in July.
