INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — HHGTV is looking for a town to revitalize as part of the upcoming series "Home Town Takeover."

The network is calling it the biggest renovation project yet.

Here's the requirements to submit your town:

  • A population of less than 40,000.
  • Homes with great architecture longing to be revealed.
  • A main street that needs a facelift.

While the series is accepting photos, videos are even better.

A couple of guys in Knightstown are already asking people to submit videos to get their town nominated.

Kevin Richey and Benjamin Houchins are asking people to submit videos about what they love about Knightstown and what needs sprucing up. The pair plan to edit a virtual tour of the town and submit the video to HGTV.

If you are interested in helping them, you can click here for more information.

If you want to submit your own town, you can find information on that here.

The entries have to be in by February 7th. If selected the shows are scheduled to air in 2021.
