Heat wave rides on

After hitting a high temperature of 92 yesterday, highs temps return to the low 90s today but it'll feel more like 95-100° with the heat index. Staying partly sunny through the day with a stray shower possible.

Hazy, hot, humid conditions continue into tomorrow as well. With the exception of a stray shower Thursday, look for partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 90s with a heat index again topping out at 95-100°.

The tropical air mass continues into Friday before a cold front arrives in the late afternoon. High temps will still be in the upper 80s. A few thunderstorms are possible along this front Friday afternoon and evening -- be aware for Friday evening Operation Football or any outdoor plans.

Next weekend looks more pleasant with highs back in the low to mid 80s with mainly clear skies. Dew points will drop into the 50s so it will feel more comfortable.
