INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Suicide is a difficult and frightening topic - and for that reason, it's hard to talk about. But there's a need to have the critical conversation.

Indiana has the nation's second highest rate of high school students attempting suicide. One out of every five Indiana kids has seriously thought about suicide.

Twice as many people die by suicide than by homicide.

Kimble Richardson from Community Health Network and Tammy Lundy, chairman of the "Out of the Darkness Walk," joined WTHR at noon Thursday to talk about suicide prevention.
