Guerin Catholic rallies to beat Chatard, 31-17

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Guerin Catholic scored 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to defeat Bishop Chatard Friday night.

The Trojans took a 17-14 lead at halftime, including a touchdown run by senior Jarrod Stiver. Stiver had 14 carries for 100 yards on the night.

After a scoreless third quarter, the Golden Eagles turned a fumble recovery into points when senior Carter McGinnis found the end zone for a 21-17 lead. After a field goal, McGinnis scored again, giving Guerin Catholic a two-touchdown lead with 4:45 remaining.

The Golden Eagles (7-1 overall, 2-0 Circle City Conference) will host Roncalli (8-0, 2-0) for the Circle City Conference title Friday night.
