GREENWOOD, Ind. (WTHR) – High school athletes are dining to donate to the family of Southport athlete Rashawn Haskins.

Haskins died in a car crash on December 1 at Main Street and US 31 in Greenwood. Haskins was coming home from a basketball game at his school.

Center Grove senior Ben Nicoson organized Sunday's fundraiser at Tried & True Alehouse in Greenwood.

He also helped create the Hoops for Haskins fund.

Nicoson asked basketball players across the state to donate $1 to the Haskin Family.

Half of the food total during the fundraiser goes towards the Haskin family.

If you don't have any dinner plans, the fundraiser goes until 9:30 p.m.

You will have to print out a flyer and show it to restaurant staff.
