Greenfield's principal email hacked, student caught


GREENFIELD, Ind. (WTHR) — Greenfield police are notifying parents about a hacking involving the principal's email at Central High School.

Police were notified about the hacking by a school resource officer.

People in Greenfield reached out to Eyewitness News saying they had received emails from the principal claiming there would be no school on Monday.

Greenfield Police Department says another email sent was a potential threat.

A student has been detained and police are still investigating.
