GREENFIELD, Ind. (WTHR) - A local high school choir is hard at work this week ahead of the Indianapolis 500.

The Greenfield-Central Madrigal Singers get to perform with Foreigner on Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The choir sent in a video as part of a contest with B105.7 and Foreigner. The rock band selected the choir to join them on stage and sing backup during their hit song "I Want To Know What Love Is."

"I was really just overjoyed and we did put a lot of work into it, as I said, during a busy time of year, so I was thrilled," said choir director Paul Grizzard.

You can watch the choir perform with the legendary rock band during the Carb Day concert on Friday at IMS. Tickets are still available.
