GoFundMe for 'Ladders to get over Trump's wall' created in response to border wall fundraiser

(WTHR) – Another GoFundMe page is now circulating online in response to another GoFundMe created in support of President Trump's proposed U.S./Mexico border wall.

This GoFundMe page isn't going to fund the border wall. It's raising money for "Ladders to get over Trump's wall".

The fundraiser, organized by Charlotte Clymer, has raised over $150,000 of its $100 million goal in three days.

The GoFundMe page created to help fund the border wall, has raised over $16 million.

The page adds that all funds will go to support an immigration nonprofit organization in Texas. Organizers say the plan is to "lift people up" and raise awareness for immigration reform.

The GoFundMe page states:

Should we not reach our goal--or should they (ahem) not reach theirs--all funds raised will go to the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES) , a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees.

You see, they’ll never reach their goal, but no matter how much we raise, we’re going to reach ours:

Supporting an organization working to help immigrants seeking legal asylum. This GoFundMe isn’t really about ladders at all. It’s about lifting people up.
