Game blog: Colts are heading to the playoffs!

NASHVILLE (WTHR) — The Indianapolis Colts are looking at a win-and-you're-in game against the Titans for Sunday Night Football. Getting a win in the final game of the regular season will clinch them a spot for the Wild Card game in Houston next weekend.

5:03 p.m. - NBC's Sunday Night Football crew is finishing setting up for the game.

6:17 p.m. - Andrew Luck is warming up and greeting Blaine Gabbert.

6:50 p.m. - Colts announce Eric Ebron and T.Y. Hilton will be active for the game tonight.

6:59 p.m. - Titans say Quarterback Marcus Mariota will be inactive for tonight's game.

7:08 p.m. - The goat is knocking down 60 yard field goals during warm up.

8:18 p.m. - It's almost game time.

8:22 p.m. - Titans have a big return off of the opening kickoff. They'll start in Colts territory.

8:25 p.m. - Colts defense comes up strong forcing 3 and out.

8:28 p.m. - A great pass by Luck to wide receiver Dontrelle Inman moves the Colts into Titans territory.

8:30 p.m. - Luck hits T.Y. for an 18-yard gain to the 25.

8:31 p.m. - Ebron is in and just helped the Colts get a first down at the 13.

8:35 p.m. - Luck hits Inman for a TOUCHDOWN!

8:42 p.m. - Colts defense is playing strong forcing the Titans to punt for the second time tonight.

8:53 p.m. - Colts start the second quarter in Titans territory.

8:59 p.m. - Luck hits Ebron for a touchdown. Colts go up 14-0.

9:17 p.m. - Colts starting at their own 6 and Andrew Luck throws an interception. Titans get a pick six.

9:21 p.m. - After pick six, Colts fo three and out. Titans fumble the punt and Colts recover.

9:24 p.m. - Marlon Mack fumbles, Titans recover.

9:30 p.m. - Colts defense forces Titans to punt.

9:35 p.m. - A great catch and run by T.Y. gets the Colts into Titans territory.

9:38 p.m. - Adam Vinatieri hits a 53-yarder to put the Colts up 17-7.

9:47 p.m. - Titans field goal ends the half with the Colts up 17-10.

10:03 p.m. - Luck connects with Ebron to get the Colts into Titans territory at the start of the second half.

10:09 p.m. - Pass interference gave the Colts new life. Luck connects with Inman to take it inside the 5. Hewitt then takes it in for a touchdown.

10:17 p.m. - Titans forced to punt. Colts will start on their 15.

10:22 p.m. - The rain is getting heavier in Nashville. WTHR meteorologist Kelly Greene says a thunderstorm could move in to Nashville around 11 p.m. bringing lightning with it.

10:24 p.m. - Titans defense stifles the Colts who have to punt.

10:29 p.m. - Colts defense responds forcing Titans to punt, but they get pinned back near their own endzone.

10:32 p.m. - Mack breaks free taking it to the 37.

10:36 p.m. - Colts forced to punt again.

10:38 p.m. - Colts injury update has Lewis out and Grant questionable.

10:39 p.m. - Titans rush down the field and get a touchdown. Colts still leading 24-17.

10:45 p.m. - End of the third quarter and the Colts lead 24-17.

10:49 p.m. - On third and 3, the Titans sack Andrew Luck forcing the Colts to punt.

10:55 p.m. - As Titans were marching down the field, the Colts cornerback Kenny Moore intercepts.

11:03 p.m. - Colts take it to the Titans 8 yard line. Adam Vinatieri knocks down another field goal. Colts lead 27-17.

11:10 p.m. - 4 penalties in the Titans drive have pushed them back to their own 9.

11:12 p.m. - Make that 5 penalties and the Titans now at their own 9 yard line and looking at 4th down.

11:15 p.m. - 2:28 left in the game and the Titans turn it over on downs. Colts lead 27-17.

11:18 p.m. - From the 9 yard line, Mack runs it in to put the Colts up 33-17.

11:22 p.m. - 2 minute warning.

11:23 p.m. - Colts Linebacker Darius Leonard comes up with an interception.

11:25 p.m. - Colts take victory formation to beat the Titans 33-17 and earn a spot in the Wild Card game next Saturday.

11:31 p.m. - Luck after the game says he loves his teammates and is ready for the playoffs. The Colts will play their rivals in Houston next Saturday.

11:36 p.m. - Colts coach Frank Reich tells his team they've done something only two other teams have ever done... make the playoffs after starting the season 1 and 5.

11:42: p.m. - "There's trust, toughness and team," said coach Frank Reich. "Really happy and proud of the guys. This is playoff football winning in the trenches on both side." Reich did talk about the dozen penalties hurting the Colts. Reich says the season wasn't about rebuilding, just winning. "I like where we're at."

11:56 p.m. - "We're just excited to have another opportunity to play again," Quarterback Andrew Luck said after the game. "This really has been a fulfilling year to this point, but I'm not satisfied because we have more to do." He said the season has been about one win at a time. His motivation has been to improve each game and says it is fun to say "I told you so" to those who have doubted the Colts. "I think we understand we have something special going on and the results are the consequence of what we do each week." Luck says he was embarrassed about the pick six, but they had to find a way to win this game and punch their ticket.

12:05 a.m. - Tight End Eric Ebron told our Dave Calabro, "Everyone understands what's at stake. We started literally at the bottom and now we're heading to the playoffs."

12:08 a.m. - Kicker Adam Vinatieri said, "We started off the season in a big hole and I'm proud we were able to pull ourselves out of it." Colts wide receiver Dontrelle Inman said the Colts are "dangerous" as they head to Houston for the playoffs.
