WASHINGTON (WTHR) - Frozen berries sold at Walmart and Save-A-Lot stores are being recalled for a potential norovirus contamination.

Alma Pak is recalling 16-ounce packages of frozen blackberries sold under the Great Value brand at Walmart and 12-ounce packages of frozen mixed berries packaged as the Tipton Grove brand and sold at Save-A-Lot.

At this time, none of the berries are believed to have been sold at stores in Indiana.

FDA testing of frozen blackberries was reported to have tested positive for norovirus, which is highly contagious and can cause severe nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. No illnesses have been linked to the recal at this time.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product are urged to throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
