BROAD RIPPLE, Ind. (WTHR) – Well over 100 people came out Saturday night to remember the life a woman killed a week ago in a hit-and-run accident in Broad Ripple.

Taylor King, 24, died when she was hit by a suspected drunk driver as she was crossing Broad Ripple Avenue.

Many of her friends remembered her as an outgoing, free spirit.

“Taylor was a really awesome person and it just goes to show how many people loved her and how many people she loved,” said Olivia Crays.

The suspected driver, Monique Willis, was arrested not far from the scene of the crash. She is charged with driving drunk in an accident causing death, and leaving the scene of an accident.
